Go on a beach holiday in Strandparken on Amager, which is Copenhagen's largest beach and is only about 5 km from the city centre. Find a cheap family holiday at Risskov and come with your swimming trunks to Strandparken. Strandparken offers activities all year round, partly based on the many facilities located along Amager Strand. There are parkour courts, bars for strength training, opportunities to play beach volleyball and beach football. The good asphalt surface also makes it easy to rollerblade and scoot. But of course there are activities on the 'lake' too, with kayaks, surfboards, canoes and pedalos available to hire, so there should be plenty to keep you entertained on the water.
