Tyringe

Tyringe originally grew up around a farmstead, but was first mentioned in writing as early as 1354, when there were only 4 farms. Today Tyringe has about 4,600 inhabitants. The village is surrounded by beautiful Scanian beech forest, which provides opportunities for walks and bike rides. Exercise trails of 2.5 - 10 km, which run through the beech forest, start near the hotel. Golfers often experience Skåne as a paradise thanks to the many courses and the long season. The nearest course, Skyrup Golf Club, is only 8 km from the hotel.

Tyringe Sports Centre is 800 metres from the hotel. Here you will find a swimming pool with a relaxation area, ice rink, bowling alley, sports hall, gym, wrestling and spinning. There is also a cafeteria. If you wish to book a time for any sporting activity, please contact the hotel. A short walk (just under 2 km) from the hotel is the FCT discount shopping centre, which covers an area of 9,000 square metres. It sells lots of cheap goods of all categories, so hurry up and bargain!

In the summer, "Backpackers" are organised on certain Saturdays. The small fee to participate goes in full to the Lions. Tyringe has a small but beautiful church, Finja church, built in Romanesque style in the 12th century. Parts of the interior are believed to have been made by the same stonemasons as in Lund Cathedral. Tyringe Museum is housed in "Bergman's cellar". Here you can see a permanent machine exhibition and a permanent photo exhibition, where you can see the development of Tyringe.

Within a radius of 40 km there are no less than 5 golf courses: Skyrup Golfklubb 8 km, Wittsjö Golfklubb 33km, Östra Göinge Golfklubb 40 km, Perstorps GK 18km and Ljungbyheds GK 30 km.
