About the hotel

Ranten Hotel is located in a beautiful natural setting, 1.000 metres above sea level, and was completely renovated in 2022. There is plenty activities all year round: visit some of the most beautiful see the Stave Church in Gol, explore the Open Air Museum Hallingdal Museum or take a walk in the Bear Park in Flå.

In winter you can have fun with lots of winter activities for both children and adults in Nesbyen Alpinsenter, which offers both alpine skiing, snowboarding and tobogganing, and the children have their own protected area.

It is also a good idea to take a trip to Langedrag Nature Park, which offers exciting wildlife experiences all year round. The park is home to around 300 over 20 different species, and there are always activities that are seasonal activities, such as horse riding in summer and skiing in winter.

The surrounding nature also offers many marked trails to hiking and cross-country skiing, and it is also possible to rent bicycles the hotel, and explore on two wheels.

Back at the hotel, you can enjoy a sauna session and the kids can have fun in the fun indoor play area.

You'll get the perfect start to the day with a lovely "mountain breakfast", and in the evening, tasty dishes are served in the cosy restaurant. The stay includes 1 cup of coffee or tea per day.
