The east and Oslo are home to half of Norway's population, so you'll find much of Norway's shopping and cultural offerings here, with cafés, shopping centres and museums. The landscape of eastern Norway ranges from high mountains to deep forests with wolf packs close to the border with Sweden, as well as beaches along the coast south of Oslo.
