Lake Malta During a holiday in Poznan it is a must to visit the beautiful
area around 'Lake Malta', which is an artificial lake built a short distance
historical centre. The area is extremely popular for a wide range of activities,
especially in summer, and there are walking trails, playgrounds, thermal baths and
an artificial ski slope. In winter, the area is used extensively for ice skating, and
bobsledding. At the north-west end of the lake you can also climb on
'Maltanka Railway', and catch a lift to the 'New Zoo' in Poznan, which is
opposite shore of the lake. A popular experience for children in particular.
