Whaler Svend Foyn's Workers' Housing

If you want to take a walk around the town, it's almost impossible not to come across the local builder and ship owner Svend Foyn, who was born here in 1809. Svend Foyn is considered a national treasure by the people of Tønsberg. He was sent to sea when he was just 11 years old. He founded the modern fin whale fishery and became a wealthy man who supported social causes. On the tour, you can visit Svend Foyn's workers' housing.
