Noresund
In Buskerud there is a small town called Noresund. There are only about 400 inhabitants, which doesn't sound like much, but the little town is well known in the area. The popular Norefjell Ski Centre is just a 10-minute drive away. There are three churches in Noresund, and a steam-powered vintage train makes the trip through town every weekend in summer. There are several farms and the scenery is stunning.
Noresund is located by the Krødrefjord, where there are also many lovely bathing spots.
You can also play golf at Norefjell Golf Club, an 18-hole course set in beautiful surroundings close to the fjord. It is also possible to get to and from Norefjell across the fjord.
