St. Binderup Kro was established in 1871 in the present buildings, which also housed a bakery and a grocery store, but the inn's history dates back to 1617, and in 1749 King Frederik V granted the inn a Royal Charter privilege. Today, after careful but thorough renovation and extension, the inn is one of Denmark's most authentic inns with a cosy atmosphere.
St. Binderup Kro has a cosy restaurant serving a good breakfast buffet and traditional Danish dishes. The bar offers refreshments and the 24-hour reception offers snacks and sandwiches outside the kitchen's normal opening hours. The inn has an activity room with table tennis, football, air hockey, darts and billiards. The inn also offers a laundry and dry cleaning service, free wireless internet access and free parking. From the inn's cosy rooms you have access to a terrace and a lovely garden. In the immediate vicinity of the inn is a large forest with many good hiking trails. You can get a map at reception to go hiking in the forest.
All rooms are comfortable and equipped with satellite TV, telephone, clothes press, minibar, toilet and bath with toiletries and hairdryer. Wireless internet is available. Room service is available, with the option of drinks, hot meals or breakfast in your room. The hotel's rooms are located in the main building or in one of the hotel's two annexes, one of which has a thatched roof and the other is a motel without a thatched roof. Both annexes are located directly at the inn.
