Mora destination image

Mora is one of Dalarna's most famous towns and here you will find many sights and attractions. Mora is located between the lakes Siljan and Orsasjön and the E45 highway and national roads 26 and 70 pass through Mora. On the first Sunday in March every year, the famous Vasaloppet is organized, starting in Sälen and finishing in Mora. During the week before Vasaloppet, several other skiing competitions are held, such as Öppet spår and Tjejvasan. But even if you visit Mora during another time of the year, you can visit the Vasaloppet goal and the Vasaloppet house. Other famous attractions include Zorngården, the home of artist Anders Zorn, Tomteland fairytale land or Mora Church, which dates back to the 13th century. You can also take the car to Nusnäs where Dala horses are produced.
