Borlänge

Borlänge destination image

Borlänge is an industrial and commercial town located on the Dalälven river and is the largest urban area in Dalarna. In addition to Dalarna's beautiful nature, the museum 2047 Science Center (formerly known as Framtidsmuseet) works to increase interest in science and technology. Both young and old will appreciate a visit to the museum's interactive experimental workshops and planetarium. If you enjoy skiing, Romme Alpin, Sweden's largest ski resort outside the mountains, is located in the small village of Koppslahyttan outside Borlänge. The resort has 33 runs with a total of 29 kilometers of slopes and 13 lifts.
