The cosy South Jutland town of Gråsten has about 4,000 inhabitants and is close to Flensburg Fjord. The town has been built around Gråsten Castle, which is the town's main attraction. The castle was built in the 1500s and is a Danish hunting castle. Today it is used as the summer residence of Queen Margrethe II.
The charming town is idyllically situated in the South Jutland countryside and there are good opportunities for cycling and walking in the green countryside. In the town you will find several cosy cafés and restaurants as well as good shopping opportunities.
