Madesjö local history society

Take your friends or family on an educational and interesting visit to Madesjö Hembygdsförening in Nybro. Here you will have the chance to explore one of Sweden's largest local museums, housed in the old church stables in Madesjö. The church stables are today Sweden's second longest wooden building and the museum includes more than 7,000 objects, arranged in different environments. At the museum you can visit an old trading post, a school and a photo gallery about the work of the time in forestry, agriculture, laundry, funeral textiles.
