About the hotel
The hotel has a good location in the Baden-Württembergs town of Waldachtal and offers a wonderful base for combining active holidays and culinary experiences. Here you are greeted by friendly staff in a warm atmosphere, and can look forward to a stay with plenty of exciting things included.
Explore the beautiful natural surroundings and discover some of the Black Forest's many towns and sights such as Freudenstadt, Mummelsee, Schwarzwaldhochstrasse and Kniebis. Or spend a wonderful day with Nordic Walking in the stunning nature. The stay includes a day's rental of a backpack filled with sandwiches, fruit and drinks to take with you when hiking in the area. Hiking poles can also be borrowed free of charge at the hotel, however numbers are limited. The stay also includes a KONUS card which can be used on free bus and train rides in the area.
In between your adventures, relax in the beautiful wellness areas, located in the main building and in the annexes. BelVital building, which is located about 20 metres from the main building and the 'Himmelreich' building, which is about 80 metres from the main building. Together they house both Finnish and infrared saunas, as well as a special 'Black Forest' sauna swimming pools, a steam bath and a number of relaxation areas. The main building houses a fitness room, where you can keep up your workout during your stay. The Spa treatments can also be booked for a fee.
You'll get the perfect start to the day with a delicious breakfast that offers a wide selection of specialities from the region. During the day you can get free coffee and tea in the lounge, and in the evening you can choose from a 4-course menu, where you choose the main course, or an evening buffet selected by the chef. On Sundays, a Black Forest buffet is served in the restaurant at the nearby Gasthof Waldachtal in Oberwaldach, which is a 20-minute walking distance from the hotel. You don't have to walk, though, as the hotel package includes a free shuttle service.
The stay also includes a piece of schwarzwalder cake, which you can choose to enjoy either at the hotel or via voucher at a nearby café, which is within a short distance.
Free parking is available at the hotel, and during your stay free wireless internet access is available.

Hotel-Resort Waldachtal is partly housed in the main building, and partly in the two annex buildings, and offers all modern and comfortable terraces or balconies, with a beautiful view of nature. You can choose between single and double rooms.
