Altstadthotel Ilsenburg

Right in the centre of the small medieval town of Ilsenburg in the Harz National Park is the Altstadthotel Ilsenburg. About the hotel

At the Altstadthotel Ilsenburg you stay in the centre of the small picturesque town of Ilsenburg. The hotel was formerly called "Lindenhof" and was built back in 1879, then it was renovated in 2015. This is a perfect place for hikers, bikers and everyone who is drawn to the Harz mountains because of the natural beauty.

In the summer months you can enjoy the beautiful nature with the healthy climate in the Ilsetal, the neighboring half-timbered towns of Goslar and Wernigerode, the World Heritage town of Quedlinburg, the western town of Pullmann-City near Hasselfelde, or take the Harz narrow-gauge railway to the Brocken.

For a winter holiday, it's recommended to go skiing or visit the tobogganing area at the Torfhaus, only about 20 minutes by car from the Altstadthotel Ilsenburg.

Of course, the adjoining cozy beer garden, in which free WiFi is available, is open to you in the wind-protected outdoor area on the back of the old half-timbered building when the weather is nice. 

Every day the hotel serves a breakfast buffet with various breads, meat spreads and cheeses. In addition, you can enjoy eggs, various drinks, vegetables, fruit and much more. The hotel has a "Biergarten" and barbecue area that you can use.

In addition, there is an attractive wellness and relaxation area with a Finnish dry sauna and a modern infrared cabin in the outbuilding of the house. The sauna and massages can be booked.
