About the hotel

The facility consists of two buildings; Haus Ostharz and Haus Promenade which are located about 70 meters apart with the reception building between them.

The small wellness area is the perfect place to relax and pamper yourself after an exciting day of hiking and exploring the Harz Mountains. The wellness area includes 3 different saunas.

The hotel is very child- and family-friendly and offers a playroom for children. However, the big attraction is the hotel's own horse farm. Children

up to 10 years old can ride the horses and there is the possibility to book a horse carriage ride around the surrounding Friedrichbrunner Wald.

Bicycles can be hired directly from the hotel, making it easy to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside. The Harz offers just around 185 km of hiking trails, which in winter turn into some formidable cross-country skiing trails. This makes the hotel ideal for both summer and winter holidays.

In the morning, an extensive buffet breakfast is served with a good selection of fresh bread and rolls, hot coffee, jams and a variety of cold cuts.

In the afternoon, after lunch, you can enjoy a cup of coffee and a slice of cake, and in the evening, evening meals are served in the hotel's large restaurant.

Rooms

The hotel's rooms are decorated in pleasant colours and have a wealth of natural light. Both single and double rooms are available and double rooms can be booked with an extra bed.

All rooms are en suite and equipped with a hairdryer, comfortable beds, telephone and cable TV.
