Rotterdam is the city with the largest port in Europe and is also world famous as a city of architects. The city welcomes you with countless attractions such as the Kijk-Kubus exhibition centre with its famous cube-shaped house, the Euromast and the Erasmus Bridge, all of which are prominent landmarks.
Go on a pleasant boat trip, take the whole family to Rotterdam ZOO Blijdorp or see the whole city from the top of the Euromast. From the panoramic platform of the Euromast, 100 metres high, you have a fantastic view over the harbour, the river and the city centre. Visit the various exhibitions in the large museums and art galleries or the Boijmans Van Beuningen museum or the numerous smaller galleries.
In the evening in Rotterdam, you have plenty of opportunities to go to a concert or a play. During the day, of course, you can shop 'til you drop in the many different shops that are open every day of the week. Most shops, as well as the large shopping centre "Bijenkorf", are located at the "Lijnbaan" and "Beurstraverse". When you need a break, you can visit one of the many good cafés and restaurants.
