The hotel is centrally located in Skien, with the Town Hall Square and Commerce Square right outside the door. The hotel's restaurant Brasseriet Madame Blom is among Telemark's better restaurants. The hotel has a limited number of parking spaces and is also close to a large multi-storey car park. Lunch and free wireless internet are included.

Central hotel in Skien.
A small selection for breakfast. Especially missed more lactose-free options. For example, yoghurt, porridge.
Nice hotel and centrally located for visiting downtown and Brekkeparken.
Some noise from construction work, which was ongoing while we were there. Otherwise, a nice location by the sea and several pleasant restaurants nearby.
