Fosdalen

Visit one of Northwest Jutland's most famous and beloved nature areas! Svinkløv Klitplantage is an area of about 700 hectares, situated on the shores of Jammerbugten. The plantation is state-owned with public access and offers a superb mix of magnificent natural landscapes and a fantastic beach. In addition, there are a number of activities in the plantation - for example, you will find three marked hiking trails, St. St. Olav's Spring and several campfire and picnic areas.

Janum Kjøt

Go on a mini-vacation and visit Janum Kjøt, the largest hiking block in North Jutland, brought to Denmark from Norway during the last ice age. You'll find it in Han Herred and here are marked trails that stretch all the way to Egebjerg, which rises more than 60 metres above sea level. Along the way, there are information boards with short stories and illustrations by artist Mette Rehné.

Tranum Klit

The Aggersborg Fortress of Vikings

The Aggersborg Fortress of Vikings is the largest fortress in Denmark. 

It was built by Harald Blåtand in 980. This fortress was used to watch voyages between Denmark and Norway. The Viking fortress lay at the centre of the trade in the past where merchant ships were busy transporting wares between Hanherred and Vesthimmerland.

Anne Just's Garden

Anne Just's Garden - a flower painter's garden of 7500 m2 established with many different garden spaces, each providing a special experience. If you want a cheap mini break, book a weekend break with Risskov and visit the studio, where there is a permanent exhibition of Anne Just's paintings and ceramics, as well as various music events during the summer. In the middle of the garden there is a small coffee house, where you can buy coffee with homemade pretzels during opening hours.

Løgstør
