About the hotel
The 3-star superior hotel is centrally located in Putbus, the oldest seaside resort on the Baltic Sea, in an unusual building: the former "Königliches Pädagogium" from 1836. The school and administration rooms have been converted into cosy hotel rooms, and the unique charm of the almost 200-year-old school building has been preserved.
In high season from May to October, breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant, where dinner is also available, in the form of a buffet or a 3-course menu. In low season, guests receive a daily breakfast and lunch pack with a thermos of tea or coffee delivered directly to their room.
Rügen is a dream destination for a wonderful holiday on the Baltic Sea. Stunning beaches and wild cliffs await, and you can explore the island by bike or on foot, and of course by taking a ride on the Rasenden Roland. Bicycles can be rented at the hotel for a fee. Thanks to its central location, you can see the sights of Putbus on foot in just a few minutes, whether it's the castle, the theatre or a station on the narrow-gauge railway.
