Norefjell Ski & Spa has been voted Norway's leading spa resort for 4 consecutive years, offering recreation and wonderful spa experiences in beautiful surroundings. The hotel is beautifully situated in the Norwegian mountains and offers outdoor activities both summer and winter just an hour and a half drive from Oslo and Gardermoen.

About the hotel

The hotel's visual identity is based on details from Norefjell's nature and wildlife, and these motifs are echoed throughout the hotel's interior. The hotel was awarded "Norways leading Spa & Resort" in 2010 - 2011 and 2015 - 2020 by the World Travel Awards and is further decorated with the "Mark of Good Interior Design" in 2010.

Norefjell Ski & Spa is known for its renowned Spa and has won the World Spa Award in 2024. Entrance to the wellness department can be ordered at norefjellskiogspa.no or purchased on spot.

The spa department has a wide selection of treatments, which can be adapted to your needs. Try treatments with Norwegian oils, sink into a warm bath with mountain plants or let yourself be wrapped in juniper berries, spruce or pine. You can also order a massage with stones or wrapped in Nordic turf.

From the hotel's Restaurant 815 you have the best view in the hotel. The kitchen focuses on the use of healthy and fresh ingredients to create a dining experience that will both give you a culinary experience and re-energise you for the next day. Restaurant 815 serves a delicious and healthy breakfast every morning, with a large selection of organic products. You will find hot food, breakfast bread, cold cuts and cheese, fresh fruit and vegetables. You can also end your day with dinner surrounded by large windows and plenty of natural light, creating a great setting for a delicious meal.

In the summer of 2021, the hotel opened its new restaurant: the Food Bar, which is open 7 days a week. It offers a simpler and family-friendly menu. Here you will find many good and popular pizzas in the menu. If you want to take the food to your room you can ask for take away.

The lobby bar is the perfect meeting place before dinner or when you want to enjoy the afternoon sun on the terrace outside with a coffee or an ice-cold beer.

Free wireless internet is available in the hotel.

Bøseter Bath & Training

Bøseter Bad & Træning is located on the third floor of the hotel and consists of a pool area and a gym. In the gym you will find equipment for both strength and cardio training. There is also a climbing wall in the gym, which is 16 metres long and has different levels of difficulty.

Access to the Spa is not included

Norefjell Ski & Spa is famous for its renowned Spa department, which is not included in the stay, but needs to be booked prior to arrival at norefjellskiogspa.no.

The spa area includes a range of spa facilities such as an "event shower", a foot bath, various bathing rooms and a whirlpool bath. Here you will also find an outdoor spa with a hot tub, where you can enjoy a glass of wine overlooking the mountains.

The spa department has a wide range of treatments to suit all your needs. Experience treatments with Norwegian essential oils, sink into a warm bath with mountain plants or soak in juniper, fir or pine. You can also be massaged with stones or soaked in Nordic peat.

Rooms

The hotel has 244 rooms. They are double rooms (often with two single beds), with desk and armchair. Bathrooms are nicely decorated with showers and have natural stone sinks. Iron and ironing board are also provided in all rooms. Many rooms have mountain views.

Hotel notes

Spa entry costs extra, it is payable to the hotel and needs to be booked prior to arrival at norefjellskiogspa.no. Dinner: Dinner is served on the day of arrival in the main restaurant, Restaurant 815. Reservations must be made with reception upon check-in. Changes may occur and on certain days dinner may be served in the Food Bar. Please note that the stay for children in cots is without food in the package. For other children's discounts, the food is part of the package. If you wish to bring a dog to the suites, this costs NOK 500 per stay. Dogs are always on request and must be confirmed by the hotel. It is not possible to pay with cash at the hotel. All payments at the hotel must therefore be made by card regardless of the amount.
