The hotel's history dates back to 1861, and over the years it has hosted several prominent personalities, and even had several princes and royals on the list of regular guests.

The superb location in the northeast corner of Zealand, gives you both sea and beach within a short walk, and there are plenty of exciting sights nearby such as Kronborg, Marienlyst Castle, the beautiful marina in Elsinore, Technical Museum, M/S Museum of Shipping and Louisiana Museum of Modern Art. You can also reach Helsingborg by ferry, and make the trip to Copenhagen in less than an hour.

Rooms

The hotel's 322 rooms all offer a beautiful and stylish setting, and there are single rooms, double rooms, superior rooms, junior suites and suites available. In the Superior Double Rooms it is possible to add an extra bed.

All rooms have en suite bathrooms and are equipped with comfortable beds, a desk, free coffee/tea facilities, a safe, a minibar, a telephone and a TV. Superior rooms and suites also have balconies, and some of these also have a lovely sea view.
