About the hotel

Westerkrug has been run by the same family since 1784, and is now in its 8th generation. Here you quickly feel at home, and whether whether you are on a family holiday, a couple's holiday or an active comfortable base with personal service.

During your stay you can relax in the hotel's comfortable rooms or the inviting outdoor areas that also include a climbing area where the children can have some fun.

The hotel's location gives you plenty of options in all directions. You can, for example, visit Frederikstad, Husum or Flensburg on the Baltic Sea coast, which offers lovely beaches in summer. It is ideal there for hiking and cycling, and of course it is also possible to go shopping at the border.

You'll get the perfect start to the day with a delicious breakfast, served in the warm environment of the hotel. In the evening, traditional dishes from the Schleswig-Holstein cuisine are served.

Rooms and apartments

The hotel offers both single and double rooms, with the possibility of adding up to two extra beds in the double rooms. You can also choose to enjoy your stay in one of the cosy apartments, sleeping 2-5 people.

The rooms are all furnished with a private bathroom and toilet, and equipped with comfortable beds and satellite TV.

The apartments (only 2 apartments in total) offer a private bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, garden with sun terrace, living room with satellite TV and one or more bedrooms, depending on the apartment type.
