Ulfborg
Ulfborg is a cosy station town located 20 kilometres north of Ringkøbing. In the centre of the town you can visit Ulfborg Church and the local library, which was opened in 1997 and contains about 20,000 books and other media. A few kilometres to the west you can see the characteristic red and white 54-metre high windmill, the Tvindmøllen, and to the east you are greeted by a beautiful view of the Jutland heath.
The town is known for the royal privileged Ulfborg Market, which was held for the first time on 21 August 1840. Over the years, the number of visitors has been constantly increasing. If you are interested in visiting the market, it is held every year on the second weekend in August.
Lystbækgaard
Go on a car holiday in Denmark and find an inn stay or a cheap summer holiday at Risskov. Drive to Lystbækgaard and experience the distinctive nature of the area. Throughout the year, various activities are organised, including sheepdog herding, sheep shearing, various farm markets and guided tours. Also visit the farm's small museum, where you can touch things, as well as the fine farm shop, where you can buy, among other things, pork, sheep sausages, wool, yarn, knitwear, skins, etc. Find cheap hotels at Risskov and come on either a summer or winter holiday to Lystbækgaard.
Vedersø County Museum
Vedersø County Museum has a memorial room for Kaj Munk, who was a priest in Vedersø from 1924 until his death on 4 January 1944. At the museum you can also see the old schoolroom, a gymnasium with old tools, and a room with an exhibition of local history and life on the dune. Also visit the vicarage in Vedersø, which was the setting for Kaj Munk's most active years.
Vedersø
The small village of Vedersø has about 500 inhabitants and is located by the North Sea, just south of Nissum Fjord. Vedersø is especially known for being the town where the Danish poet Kaj Munk served as a priest and lived the last 20 years of his life. Kaj Munk's vicarage - now a regional museum - and Vedersø Church are both obvious places to visit.
Husby Dune Plantation
Visit the stunning Husby Dune Plantation north of the hotel, which offers a bit of everything all year round: beautiful scenery from noble fir to beech grove, historical experiences with bunkers from the 2nd World War. The hotel is surrounded by scenery from the noble hills to the historic bunkers from World War II, a rich animal and plant life and a dip in the North Sea in summer. A summer holiday for the whole family or perhaps just a relaxing mini break for two - both are well spiced up with a visit to Husby Dune Plantation.
Ringkøbing
Welcome to Ringkøbing with its cobbled streets, harbour and exciting speciality shops. Ringkøbing is one of Denmark's oldest trading towns and the most well preserved. The town lies in a beautiful landscape by Ringkøbing Fjord. The old centre with the square and the church is very nice to visit, as it is so well preserved. The town also has many restaurants where you can enjoy a nice dinner. Much is being done to preserve large parts of old Ringkøbing. The result can be clearly seen when you walk around the centre. Ringkøbing's square is adorned by the old town hall, which is now a tourist information centre.
Ringkøbing is charming and the cobbled streets connect the centre with the harbour area. Fishermen still leave their mark on the town, although today the harbour is mainly used by fjord fishermen and sailors. The once bustling harbour area has now been transformed into an oasis where you can gaze out over the fjord, while also strolling along the quayside or enjoying the water's edge.
Holstebro
Holstebro is a lively commercial city located in northern West Jutland. In the heart of the town you will find cosy streets and Denmark's second oldest pedestrian street (built in 1962), where you will find a large selection of shops, specialty stores, cafés and restaurants such as Det Gamle Apotek, Støberiet or Under Klippen. But the city also offers museums, fine art and cultural experiences. Don't miss the bronze sculpture Woman on a Cart, located in front of the Old Town Hall in the pedestrian street. The sculpture is now so valuable that it has to be lowered into the ground every night to avoid being stolen. Holstebro and its surroundings offer many sights, activities, cultural and natural experiences for the whole family and it is an obvious destination for a self-drive holiday to Jutland.

Lovely sandy beach next to the North Sea. At Thorsminde Beach, floating lines are laid out in the North Sea in summer. They form a giant "swimming pool", which gives you more safety than at other beaches along the West Coast. Thorsminde is a sandy beach with dunes. The beach has a disability path, where people with walking difficulties and wheelchair users can get closer to the water. There are parking spaces, toilets, a restaurant, kiosk and barbecue right by the beach. A few minutes away there is also a harbour, summer cottages and a campsite and the St George Stranding Museum, which tells the dramatic story of the greatest stranding disaster ever, when 1300 sailors perished in 1811.

The museum dates back to 1930, but was rebuilt and extended in 2006. The museum has several permanent exhibitions. Start by discovering the radio and television adventure, Bang & Olufsen, and the cultural history behind the sound and image media. It is also possible to visit the house of author Johannes Buchholtz, which stands as an icon of the 1930s writing scene.
Struer - a railway junction, tells about the first railway that connected Århus, Randers and Struer and about the influence the railway had on Struer's development, and why Struer was called the 'uniform city'. In the exhibition 'Limfjorden on canvas', visitors can enjoy the many landscape paintings from the western part of the Limfjorden, which has always been a great source of inspiration for many artists.
