Clarion Collection Magasinet

Clarion Collection Hotel Magasinet is housed in a stunning building dating from 1904 and is centrally located in Trelleborg, close to the city centre, the harbour and the railway station. Trelleborg is Sweden's southernmost city, and from here you can easily visit places like Smygehuk, Skanör, Falsterbo, Malmö and even Copenhagen.

About the hotel

Clarion Collection Hotel Magasinet is housed in an old granary, which dates back to 1904 and was in use as late as the mid-1980s. The building underwent a complete renovation and was transformed into a hotel in the early 00s, but many of the details of the old building have been carefully preserved.

The hotel is located directly at the city's ferry terminal, with departures to places like Travemünde, Rostock, Swinousjie, Klaipeda and Sassnitz. Thus, the hotel offers a good base for a stopover if you are going on a driving holiday elsewhere in Europe.

The hotel package includes a delicious and extensive buffet breakfast with a variety of options, afternoon coffee and dinner, where you can enjoy a delicious salad and a main course each evening.

The hotel's central location means you have the city centre, museums, beautiful gardens, Trelleborg Castle and great shopping within walking distance. The hotel is also a short distance from Skåne's beautiful countryside, where you will find many good cycling paths. You are also close to Trelleborg Golf Club and the area's beautiful beaches.

Parking is available at the hotel for a fee and wireless internet access is free during your stay.

Rooms

The hotel has 58 modern, recently renovated rooms, all of which are bright and nicely decorated.

There are three different room types, which are Standard double rooms, Superior double rooms and Deluxe double rooms:

Standard double rooms are 18-20 m² and are equipped with either a double bed or two single beds.

Superior double rooms are 18-24 m² and are located at the top of the building. These also have either a double bed or twin beds, and most have sloping ceilings with skylights and a cosy air-conditioning system.

Deluxe double rooms are also 18-24 m² and are equipped with a comfortable double bed of 180cm or 210cm. These rooms have large windows overlooking the sea or the rooftops of the city and high ceilings, creating a cosy atmosphere.

All rooms are furnished with wooden floors and tiled bathrooms with shower and hairdryer, work area with chair, armchair and SmartTV.

In Superior and Deluxe rooms, it is possible to add an extra bed.

Pets are welcome for a fee and must be booked in advance.
