The small town of Zrece Dravinja lies in a valley at the foot of Pohorje. The town dates back to the Middle Ages, when it was divided between religious rulers. For a long time Zrece was known for its trade, especially for the iron industry, which flourished after World War I. Today, the city is more famous for its healthy climate and unique charm, which attracts many visitors every year.
The most visited attraction in Zrece Dravinja is Terme Zrece, which with its extensive spa, wellness as well as tourist center Rogla, at 1500 meters altitude, draw many visitors. Tours are also organised in the area or try to explore the beautiful nature yourself.
