Zingst

Zingst is a small town located on the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula in northernmost Germany, separated from the mainland by the Barther Bodden lagoon. The town is surrounded by beautiful countryside consisting mostly of forests and marshland, which has also paved the way for numerous cycling and walking routes. There is also a beautiful and unspoilt beach, good restaurants and a lovely atmosphere in the small town.

There are over 20 km of beach with beach chairs and a popular place for Germans to enjoy a holiday in the company of the sea and a good book.

Summer offers a wealth of colourful flowers and green foliage, and both spring and autumn offer an unparalleled natural experience: the many cranes migrating and resting in the marshes.

Zingst is also a bit of a cultural town, there are galleries, museums and several exhibitions, visit the town museum and the adjacent amber museum, or pay a visit to the local Experimentarium, remember the kids! The Max Hünten House hosts photography exhibitions as well as workshops, and if visitors want to know what's happening in town, this is the place to go.

There are plenty of restaurants to choose from, and freshly caught local seafood is often on the menu. End the day in one of the local pubs and catch up on the last gossip on the way back to the hotel.
