Vione
If you're in the area, you should stop by the town of Vione. Vione is one of the more interesting medieval towns in Val Camonica. In Vione you will find picturesque, antique and rustic architecture. The town is famous for its recent discovery of the so-called "longobard" tombs, as well as the preservation of the 6 towers that defended the castle. The parish church of S. Remigio is one of the most ornate in the valley and the Santuario di Cortaiolo contains frescoes by Oscar di Prata.
