Tarm
Tarm is a trading town in the middle of the West Jutland countryside. The town has a fine selection of shops, eateries and attractions for both young and old.
Visit Hattemagerhuset, Tarm's oldest house, which is about 200 years old. Here you can explore the garden filled with old herbs and perennials, meet the chickens and get an insight into life on a farm in the old days. Various events are held regularly and are open to the public.
If you are interested in art, a walk through Tarm will be just the thing for you. The town has many interesting and fun sculptures placed around the streets, which help to make the walk through the town a great experience. Some sculptures have a special significance - for example, the column at the VGT - while others have a surprising approach.
Bring the whole family to Tarm Sports Centre, which has a swimming pool with several pools, a 60-metre waterslide, 1 and 3-metre seesaws, a whirlpool and a baby pool. There is also a fitness centre, tennis courts and badminton courts with the possibility of renting a racket.
You can also rent rail bikes and go for a ride on the Videbæk-Skjern Veteran and Model Railway. The tour is 13 km long and goes between Herborg gl. station and Skjern.
