Sofiero Castle

In 1866, under Crown Prince Oscar and his wife Sophia, the summer palace Sophie-ro was built. It is located directly by the sea just a few kilometres north of Helsingborg. Sofiero is perhaps best known for its collection of rhododendrons, and this is primarily what more than 100,000 visitors come to experience each year.
