Plateau of Valensole

The Plateau of Valensole is one of Provence’s most iconic landscapes, especially in June and July when endless rows of lavender stretch toward the horizon. The scent alone makes the drive worthwhile, but the real draw is the view—rolling hills painted in purple and gold. It's a favourite stop for photographers, and several local farms and distilleries welcome visitors with lavender-based products and essential oils.
