Örebro Castle

In the centre of Örebro is the magnificent Örebro Castle, where the Svartåen River flows by. The castle, which has been the centre of the city for more than 700 years, is a very popular tourist attraction. Today the old castle is a very lively attraction where you can see exhibitions, theatre performances and fairs as well as enjoy a good meal. During the summer months, you can of course also join guided tours and learn more about the castle and its history. You can also join one of the castle's ghost tours and listen to stories about the lives of former prisoners, witches, folk beliefs and today's famous ghosts.
