Take a tour through 300 years of mining at the Nyberget mine, which was active in the 17th century, and the Olavsgruva mine, which was a more modern mine, with the working processes used in the 20th century.
The tour goes 50 meters down and then 500 meters into the mine, into the Bergmannshallen. It's cold underground, around 4 degrees all year round, so bring warm clothes and shoes or boots. There are guided tours in both Norwegian and English, and it certainly pays.
