The Seamen's Memorial Hall

The Seamen's Memorial Hall was erected in gratitude to all the Norwegian merchant seamen who were killed during the First World War 1914-1918. The Memorial Hall is Norway's only national memorial to Norwegian sailors from both world wars. The motto for all of them faces the entrance to the hall: "To sacrifice and deeds" or "To self-sacrifice and heroism".

Open from 15 May to 31 August between 11:00 - 18:00, every day of the week
