Lake Ossiach

The lake is located northeast of the town of Villach, and is a popular tourist destination. There are several campsites, guesthouses and hotels. During the summer, temperatures in the lake can rise to 28°C, making it a great place to take a dip.

Some of the uninhabited lakeside areas are also protected as nature reserves.
