Frederiksborg Castle

Take a trip to Hillerød where you can experience the most impressive Frederiksborg Castle. Built by Christian IV in the early 1600s, it is the largest Renaissance building in Scandinavia. The grounds include a beautiful palace park and a palace church. Since 1878, the castle grounds have been home to the National History Museum.
