Femundsmarka National Park
Femundsmarka National Park is located in the municipality of Engerdal and was established in 1971. At that time the park covered 386 km² but it was expanded in 2003 and the beautiful nature park now covers 573 km². The park borders a number of protected areas on the Swedish side of the border, making it the largest continuous protected wilderness area in southern Scandinavia.
