Viste Strandhotel is a social enterprise that works for and with vulnerable young people who lack success experiences and a foothold in the labour market. When you book a stay at the hotel, you are helping to support this important work. The hotel asks guests to show understanding for the young people who work at the hotel. The young people have different challenges and are at the same time an important part of the staff who want to give you a good experience. The restaurant offers delicious food in the cosy rooms, and afterwards you have the opportunity to go for a walk by Vistestranden with its fine coastal landscape, where you can visit the well-preserved country museum Vistnestunet from around 1897. There are also many good hiking routes close to the hotel, and the staff can help with suggestions. Stavanger is only 10 kilometres from the hotel, and it is also a short distance to play golf at the local golf course. For active guests, the hotel also offers free access to the fitness centre a few kilometres away.

Viste Strandhotel's 26 rooms are divided into single, double and family rooms, suitable for solo travellers, couples and families. All rooms have a private bathroom, table and chair, wardrobe, TV, hairdryer and free internet access.

Lovely old seaside hotel with a beautiful location. Situated close to a small beach. We had a fantastic view over beach meadows, the beach, and could watch the ships on the horizon from our room. The staff were very helpful. The restaurant is not necessarily open in the evening, so it must be arranged in advance. We got freshly made scrambled eggs which were not on the buffet but were made when we arrived. Good opportunities for walks in the area and close to Stavanger.
