TRIHOTEL Rostock is a leisure-oriented hotel on the southeastern edge of Rostock, surrounded by woodland while remaining within easy reach of the city center. It combines individually styled Classic and Design rooms with a restaurant, bar, wellness area, and indoor pool—an appealing base for a city break or a visit to the Baltic coast.
About the hotel
TRIHOTEL Rostock has plenty of personality—and plenty of ways to spend a weekend together. This adults-only hotel beside the Schweizer Wald sets the scene with bold interiors, a relaxed atmosphere and a little theatrical flair. Rostock’s city center is a short bus ride away, although you may find yourselves in no hurry to leave.
Breakfast gives you time to discuss the day’s plans, even if those plans only stretch as far as the pool. Later, the 5 Elemente restaurant brings the woodland indoors, complete with a waterfall and an open kitchen. Regional ingredients feature on the menu, and warmer days call for a seat on the forest terrace. The evening can continue over drinks at ROCKTHEATER, where concerts, comedy and stage shows bring extra energy on selected dates.
There’s also plenty of room for doing very little. The 1,800 m² AQUA wellness area has an indoor pool overlooking the trees, saunas and quiet corners where you can stretch out together. For an extra treat, massages, beauty treatments and private spa suites are available to book at an additional charge.
With paid parking at the hotel and a bus stop opposite, heading into Rostock or out to the Baltic coast is easy. A little sightseeing, a swim, dinner and another drink—the weekend soon takes care of itself.Things to see and do
Rostock pairs Hanseatic history with easy access to the sea. Wander through the historic center to see the gabled merchants’ houses, the Town Hall, and St. Mary’s Church, then explore the shops and cafés around Neuer Markt and Kröpeliner Straße. At the harbor, the waterfront offers a glimpse of the city’s maritime character. For a beach day, head to Warnemünde, where a broad sandy shoreline, lighthouse, promenade, and old fishermen’s cottages create a classic Baltic Sea setting. The nearby Rostock Heath also offers peaceful paths for walking and cycling through coastal woodland.
