The Cottage is beautifully set in the green surroundings of Nysted, and the classic black and white half-timbering immediately catches the eye. The Cottage welcomes you for a cosy stay with plenty of atmosphere and history. The hotel building dates back to 1918 and was carefully restored in 2000, respecting the details of the past. The hotel is situated in lovely, green surroundings at the tip of Lolland's south coast, within short driving distance of exciting sights.
Close to The Cottage, you can stroll along the coast, with a beautiful view of Ålholm Castle and Nysted's conservation-worthy houses in brilliant colours. Nysted Harbor can also be experienced within walking distance from the hotel, try the city's restaurants, take a walk in the lively neighbourhoods, or try a seal safari at selected times of the summer.
The Cottage is well suited for a self-drive holiday to Lolland, which is a short drive to exciting attractions: Fuglsang Art Museum, Knuthenborg Safaripark and the Medieval Center near Sundby.
