Cologne is a culturally unique metropolis on the Rhine in Germany and represents the many colours of life like no other city - just like Aunt ALMA's Hotel in Cologne; a hotel that will enchant you with its unique furniture and many beautiful details - a fantastic nostalgia that you won't find anywhere else.
Aunt ALMA's Hotel gives you the opportunity to "touch" history - that's how the hotel itself describes it. And it's true: The hotel has a wealth of furniture and decorations especially from the 50s and 60s, and as colorful as life. Even the hotel's communal lounge is reminiscent of the living room at your grandmother's or favourite aunt's house. Each room is individually decorated and the hotel places great emphasis on togetherness: whether it's for morning sports every morning or coffee every afternoon. Here, hotel guests can meet and enjoy each other's company. A Sunday evening with Tatort is also part of the Tante ALMA programme. There is also plenty of fun to be had in the games room, where there is a large selection of board games and card games for young and old alike. In the music room, meanwhile, you can get creative and play music or listen to the record player and relax.
In fact, it's almost a shame to leave the hotel as there's so much to experience there! But you'll definitely want to take a closer look at Cologne after the hotel's great breakfast. For that, the hotel is perfectly located - just off the famous Hohenzollernring. Cologne Cathedral is just a 20-minute walk from the hotel, and you can also enjoy the wide range of restaurants and cafés located right on the banks of the Rhine. The Chocolate Museum is also not far away - as are the many other important sights of the city, scattered in the districts around the Duomo.
Each room at Tante ALMA's Hotel is individually decorated and has a private bathroom/toilet with shower or bath, free toiletries, hairdryer, flat-screen satellite TV and WiFi.
