We have been here for the third time now and we feel very comfortable in the hotel. The direct location to the beach and the small harbour to go by ferry can be reached in a minute. Beautiful hiking trails directly along the water in both directions... wonderful.

The staff at the beach hotel is very friendly. The breakfast with a daily sparkling wine offer, which can be taken in the large conservatory or outside - wonderful. There are around 7 beach chairs in the garden available for free use and a large outdoor terrace. We had a room with a terrace, room 219, lovely. The bus stop is just around the corner, to Kiel with the X30 in 30 minutes. The beach is clean, very large. We will come again!! Opposite, right on the sandy beach and harbour, you can eat at affordable prices belonging to the beach hotel both inside and outside, but of course also in the hotel with upscale cuisine.

Strandhotel Strande is a really cozy little hotel with a very friendly and attentive staff. We had a room with a view over the water - it was fantastic. We enjoyed the three days the stay lasted. The only downside of our stay was the two dinners that were included in the price. It took place at a nearby "restaurant," which is more like a cafeteria, where both the quality of the food and the service from the staff were far below standard - it was disappointing. However, this should not overshadow the quality of Strandhotel Strande, which we would recommend to others at any time.

It's a bit unfortunate that Risskov Rejser sends their guests over to the "cafeteria" Lönneberga across the street - there is one main dish of significance, the rest are so-so - the staff should be praised, really positive and smiling when you show your "voucher" ...it's not OK. Only used one voucher and booked a table in the hotel's own restaurant, a bit more expensive; but absolutely MUCH better and a larger selection - having said this, we were very satisfied with the stay.
