Märkische Schweiz Nature Park

Märkische Schweiz has long been a well-developed hiking area, and despite being Germany's smallest nature park at just under 200 km², virtually all landforms are represented in the area. Frankfurt (Oder)

Frankfurt (Oder) in the Brandenburg region is a hub linking important European trade routes and has always been an important trading city due to its location on the Oder, which still characterises the cosy city known today for its university, rich cultural life and many markets.

Frankfurt's largest and most important church over the centuries is St. Mary's Church. The church is famous far beyond the city limits because of the popular and magnificent "Bilderbibel". The city's impressive town hall dates back to 1253 and is built in North German Gothic brick. It is one of the oldest and largest town halls in Germany. The building was almost destroyed during World War II, but has since been rebuilt with the help of a lottery, the proceeds of which went towards its reconstruction. Today, the Rathauskeller houses a gallery and a cosy restaurant.

The tallest building in the city is almost 90 m. high and has 24. floors. Oderturm has many office buildings, but here you can also find many good shopping opportunities in various shops.
