Hotel
The Steigenberger Icon Grandhotel Belvédère has been part of Davos since 1875. Its grand façade, elegant lounges and traditional details recall the early days of Alpine tourism, while the facilities meet the needs of today’s holidaymakers.
Each morning begins with a generous breakfast buffet in Restaurant Belvédère, accompanied by magnificent views across Davos and the surrounding peaks. Restaurant Voilà serves international à la carte cuisine with a particular focus on flavourful Swiss specialities. During winter, the cosy, wood-panelled Arvenstübli is the place to enjoy a traditional Davos cheese fondue, while Trattoria Romeo & Julia serves classic Italian favourites. Later, settle into a comfortable armchair by the fireplace in the atmospheric Carigiet Bar & Lounge.
The inviting Belvédère Spa provides plenty of space to relax. Swim in the large indoor pool with a counter-current system, unwind in the bubbling whirlpool or enjoy the soothing warmth of the saunas and steam bath. Massages are also available, while the well-equipped fitness room is ideal for an active start to the day.
The hotel enjoys a prime location on the promenade. Shops, restaurants and cultural attractions are just a short walk away. The renowned Kirchner Museum is directly opposite, while the Davos Congress Centre, Vaillant Arena and peaceful spa gardens can be reached in around five minutes on foot. Hotel guests can also use the complimentary transfer service from Davos Platz railway station.
At 1,560 metres above sea level, Davos is surrounded by the dramatic peaks and green valleys of Graubünden. Summer days can be spent hiking through colourful Alpine landscapes, cycling along mountain trails or playing golf in the clear mountain air. Lake Davos is a lovely destination for walking, swimming, sailing and windsurfing.
In winter, the Davos Klosters ski region becomes an extensive snowy playground with downhill slopes, cross-country trails, winter walks, snowshoe routes and sledging runs. The nearby mountain railways provide easy access to panoramic viewpoints and welcoming mountain restaurants throughout the year.
