About the hotel

This classic city hotel is housed in the historic 'Fremurarehuset', which was inaugurated by the Swedish King, Oscar II, back in 1884. The hotel underwent a careful renovation in 2012-2013. The historic setting combined with contemporary styles and not least the surroundings of the modern city, create a very special atmosphere at the hotel.

During your stay, you can enjoy the hotel's cosy sauna and recharge your batteries for new adventures in the charming town. The hotel reception is open 24 hours a day and personal service is a priority. The reception also offers bicycle hire.

The city centre location offers great shopping, sightseeing and café options. The hotel is close to the beautiful city park, Tivoli Park, as well as the city's many different museums and galleries. There are also several nature reserves and excellent golf courses nearby, and there is plenty of opportunity to visit the beautiful coastal town of Åhus, which is within a short drive.

Stadshotellet Kristianstad has 38 modern rooms with individual decor and there are both single and double rooms, as well as the option of a double room with an extra bed.
