Ski holiday in Trysil

Trysil has four interconnected ski areas built around the Trysil mountain, and with a total of 68 runs and 31 lifts, Trysil is Norway's largest ski area, so pack your car and head to Norway for a ski holiday. In addition to the many well-groomed ski slopes, Trysil also offers spa facilities, several accommodation options and many good restaurants and bars, all of which have led to Trysil being voted Norway's best ski destination by the World Ski Awards for several years running.

Trysil consists of the four ski areas; Turistsenteret, Høyfjellssenteret, Høgegga and Skihytta.

are both located on the south side and the mountain, where you can expect long sunny days, which can be spent on the wide slopes of all difficulty levels, followed by refreshments at one of the restaurants. Two of Trysil's three children's areas are also located here and the former also offers several Snow Parks. On the north side of the mountain is the ski area

Høyfjellssenteret

, which mainly offers green and red slopes as well as the large children's area, Valles Skiland. Ski area

Høgegga

is the steepest part of Trysil and, with its many black runs, a favourite with both experienced and professional skiers.

If you're going on a skiing holiday with the whole family, Trysil is the perfect destination. The ski resort offers three children's areas, so even the youngest members of the family can get a lot out of their skiing holiday. The three children's areas offer light ski slopes, T-lifts and roller coasters, and here the children can greet the mascot Valle and take part in various activities such as theatre and treasure hunts.

Older children and adults can use Trysil's various Snow Parks with several different obstacles and jumps. There are several ski schools in Trysil, so both beginners and experienced skiers can improve their skiing skills. It is also possible to rent ski equipment in town. It is free to take the ski bus around to the different ski resorts in Trysil.
