Rudbøl Grænsekro

Located right by Rudbøl Lake and a stone's throw from the border with Germany, the small and charming Rudbøl Grænsekro is surrounded by marshland and some of the most exquisite wildlife in Danish nature.

About the hotel

Rudbøl Grænsekro has a restaurant serving Danish and international cuisine. Bicycles and canoes can be hired at reception for trips in the South Jutland countryside, but be sure to inform the hotel well in advance. Internet access is available throughout the hotel. Rudbøl Grænsekro has an agreement with Tønder Golf Club, so remember to bring your golf gloves and try some of the golf courses. There is music and dancing at the inn almost every Saturday.

Black Sun is one of the area's greatest nature experiences and is best experienced between March and September-October. When the starlings swarm like waves in the sky, you can witness an alluring and unique experience. 

During these periods, Rudbøl Grænsekro offers guided excursions (from 50,- per person), where you follow the local guide in your own car.

Rooms and apartments

Rudbøl Grænsekro offers both ordinary rooms and 15 small village cottages, all simply furnished. The inn rooms are located in the main building and the inn's annex. The rooms have a private bath/toilet, TV and electric kettle.

The apartments are of older date and are located in village houses around Rudbøl within 200 metres of the main hotel building. The apartments have a coffee machine, fridge, bath/toilet and TV.
