Pichardts

Pichardts offers a unique stay in a historic setting on Langeland, just a few hundred metres from Tranekær Castle. Here you will stay in one of the seven lovely holiday apartments in two different buildings, both of which have played a role in the history of Tranekær Castle. This makes for an exciting and different stay with an excellent opportunity to discover Langeland and South Funen.

About Pichardts

Pichardts is run by Jeanette Emilie Pichardt and Christian Jørgen Pichardt, who both have many years of experience in the restaurant industry. In addition to the holiday apartments in Tranekær, the Pichardt team also manages Restaurant Generalen, which is housed in Tranekær Castle's former manor house. The restaurant is named after Frederik Ahlefeldt-Laurvig, the Count of Lens, who was nicknamed 'The General'. A unique menu has been created, inspired by an old cookbook from 1800, which once belonged to Lensgreven's own chef, Christoffer Jakobsen.

It is possible to purchase additional dishes of up to 5.

For golfers Pichardts offers 10% discount on greenfee at Langeland Golf Klub.

Apartments

Pichardt has seven apartments spread over two buildings, located at Slotsgade 50 and Nygade 4, 6 and 8 respectively - all within a short distance of the castle and restaurant. The apartments are all fully renovated and furnished with their own distinctive character and with a strong emphasis on homely cosiness.

Four of the seven apartments are located in Slotsgade and are housed in parts of a building that Lensgreven, in 1885, built for the purpose of housing Tranekær Læseforening. Later, the building was converted by Lensgreven's son, Christian Ahlefeldt, into the town's secondary school.

The other three apartments are in a nice house in Nygade, which used to belong to Tranekær Castle and was used as a farm worker's residence.

All apartments are furnished with a bedroom, bathroom, entrance hall, kitchen and living room. There is free internet in all apartments and you will receive the code when you pick up the key. There is no television in the apartments.

You can use the barbecue in the courtyard - charcoal and accessories are in the shed. If you use the barbecue, you are responsible for cleaning it and for using the freezer and the fishing area in the shed.
