Ostsee Strandhaus Holnis is a wonderful oasis of relaxation located
on the northern German peninsula of Holnis, on one of the Baltic Sea's most beautiful sandy beaches. Here
directly on the promenade, just a few steps from the water, there is a relaxing driving holiday with beach and beautiful natural surroundings close
Flensburg.
About the hotel
The hotel is run by a family with great respect for nature
and a particular passion for sustainability. The building is therefore also predominantly built using natural materials, the gardens that surround the house consist entirely of
plants, and electricity is generated by the hotel's own combined heating and
power plant.
From the hotel you are a short distance from the beautiful port city of Flensburg,
which offers plenty of opportunities for shopping and sightseeing, history and
culture and, not least, genuine North German gastronomy.
It's also a great idea to explore the Holnis Peninsula in all its
splendour. Enjoy the beautiful scenery or take a hike or bike ride along the
the coast, all the way to the northernmost tip of the island.
The hotel also has its own cosy beach café with
terrace which is a short walk along the promenade. Here you can
start the day with a wonderful breakfast buffet, enjoy midday snacks and
and tea specialities with homemade cake. There are also occasional
barbecues during the summer months. The hotel reception is also located here, as part of the café.
Free parking is available at the hotel and during your stay there is free wireless internet access.
Rooms
Ostsee Strandhaus Holnis consists of the Ostsee Strandhaus and the Dünenhaus (directly next to each other). Standard rooms land side are always located in the Strandhaus but when upgrading to a deluxe double room sea side the hotel offers rooms in both buildings. The standard of the rooms in the Dünenhaus is completely identical to that of the Strandhaus. Sea views cannot be guaranteed in the Deluxe rooms, as they depend on the vegetation along the shore.
The hotel's rooms are spacious, bright and stylish and you can
choose between Standard double rooms or deluxe double rooms sea view.
