Öjaby Herrgård

About the hotel

At Best Western Öjaby you will stay in charming and rural surroundings, on a manor with a long history, as it was built by Count Posse in the mid 1800s. The hotel is part of the Best Western chain, and you will be greeted by a professional and personal service.

The hotel has a lovely relaxation area with a hot tub, steam room and sauna. Bicycles can also be rented at the hotel if you want to explore the surroundings on two wheels.

The hotel restaurant is located in the manor house and the kitchen focuses on the Scandinavian food tradition. Traditional Swedish dishes are served with a modern twist, using local ingredients to a great extent. The hotel is KRAV certified and FairTrade labelled.

Every morning the hotel serves a nice large buffet breakfast with many choices. On Sundays, it is also possible to upgrade to the hotel's popular Sunday brunch. The hotel's cosy lounge offers round-the-clock coffee.

The hotel's location near Växjö makes it perfect for visiting the popular "Glasriket", where you can experience glassworks up close. Glasriket has a long history of producing hand-blown glass since 1742, and it's an exciting process to see for yourself.

Rooms

Best Western Öjaby has 43 rooms divided between the main building, the manor house and a third building called 'Rättaren'. You will find the double rooms in the manor house and these all have newly renovated bathrooms with hairdryers, scented toiletries and double beds (2 x 90cm). All rooms also have a TV and offer a bathrobe.

There are also rooms for four people in the manor house, which, with beds spread over two rooms, is perfect for family holidays.

On Sundays, the breakfast buffet can be upgraded to the hotel's popular Sunday brunch, which must be booked directly at the hotel.
