Calm and wonderful environment

We celebrated my wife's 80th birthday here and we were more than satisfied. Ewa Sven-Åke. The area was very nice and the spa department was very good.

Very friendly staff, fantastic food, a cosy spa with a unique ritual and small but pleasant rooms make you want to return. The only thing that slightly lowers the rating is that the room is a bit of a distance from the restaurant.

This was a truly wonderful trip! We really enjoyed ourselves from start to ****! I had my concerns because it was a so-called car holiday package and didn't know how we would be received at Lundsbrunn. But we received such a warm welcome at the reception that these concerns disappeared immediately. Throughout our stay, all the staff were wonderfully helpful. We got to choose from an à la carte menu that was a bit limited, but the food was fantastically good! We could choose two courses per dinner, either starter-main course or main course-dessert, and since we were at Lundsbrunn for three nights, we could try different dishes every day. But I think that for longer stays, you would have to repeat the choices. They had an extensive drinks menu, and the wines were very good even though drinks were not included in the package. We had access to the spa on two occasions, and the experience was perfect! I have personally been on many spa trips and can say that Lundsbrunn's facilities are top class! We could do water aerobics in the pool, bubble in the hot jacuzzi, and scrub ourselves clean in Lundsbrunn's very special scrubbing area. There is a sunroom, aroma sauna, infrared sauna, and plenty of space in the changing room and showers. All the rooms, including the background music, had a calming effect. I can also say that Lundsbrunn's spa products are naturally fragrant and beneficial. We didn't have the opportunity to try any of the treatments offered, but hope to do so on our next visit. Regarding the room, I can say that the decor was very simple but functional. It resembled my old student room. We needed a twin room, and there were two comfortable single beds that sufficed very well. The bathroom was very fresh and clean, but due to the spa visits, the shower in the room was not used much. What I really need to remark on is the total lack of cleaning during our four days. We didn't need new sheets or towels but would have really needed someone to empty the bins, sweep the floor, and replenish the toilet paper in the bathroom as what we got initially was nowhere near enough. Otherwise, it was exceptionally quiet in the house and corridor, so we had three nights of very good sleep. One more thing to point out is that I believe our experience was better than many because we didn't travel during the peak season, and the hotel and spa were not so heavily loaded, which was a plus. I would gladly recommend this package through Risskov and hope that many have such a wonderful stay as we did!
